Bohemian Headband Tutorial

The other day, I was flipping through the pages of a Seventeen Magazine and I saw this adorable bohemian headband in one of the pictures. (from Girlprops.com, $30) .....But not adorable enough for me to pay 30 bucks for it hehe
It immediately reminded me of the huge stash of gold bugle beads I've had in my craft bin since I was about 8. Never had any clue what to make with them until now! It's a pretty basic beading pattern, so I drew up a little diagram for everyone to see it laying flat.

(I know, not my most artistic moment)
I made the little pentagon in the front out of wire, and the other strands with basic beading string. The toughest part was measuring each strand of beads to fall exactly like they did in the picture. Just make sure the bottom layer of the headband is longer than the first and it should drape nicely!
Mine looks exactly the same as the one in the picture, but it cost me absolutely no money and only about 20 minutes to make. I'm pretty proud of this one, not gonna lie ;)
